Help youth find recovery from drugs and other self-destructive behaviors
Join us in empowering youth to find sobriety through volunteering, sponsoring events or exploring career opportunities.
Sponsor a teenager
Transform a life. Your support offers hope, access to treatment and a path to healing. It empowers a young person to overcome addiction, rebuild confidence and build a brighter future. By investing in their recovery, you’re fostering resilience, breaking cycles of dependency and creating a ripple effect of positive change in their family and community.
Sponsor an event
When you sponsor a FullCircle event, you’re helping to provide a safe, fun — and often educational — environment where young people in recovery can connect, build community and strengthen their commitment to sobriety and wellness.
Volunteer with FullCircle
Lived experience often inspires struggling youth, showing them that recovery is possible and makes life much better. We partner with an array of other nonprofit organizations to perform acts of community service that could take our teams around the world. And, of course, we provide sober social events right here at home. FullCircle volunteers are needed to assist with fundraising, event production and the provision of resources — everything from drinks to concerts spaces — to support our mission. Our volunteers often tell us they’re the ones who receive from their service far more than they give.
Work for FullCircle
At FullCircle, we believe the most powerful way to serve young people is through authentic
connection. That’s why the majority of our team is made up of alumni of our programs and
programs like ours. Our staff understand FullCircle on a personal level—they’ve lived it,
breathed it, and now choose to give back by helping the next generation of young people find
recovery and community.
Our Internship Pipeline
To ensure the highest quality support, we offer a structured internship program designed
specifically for young people who’ve grown through FullCircle or similar youth-based recovery
programs.
Our interns:
- Letter of recommendation from the director of your home program
- Work part-time at a FullCircle location outside of their home program (often in a
different state) - Gain hands-on experience in running support groups, managing program environments,
and supporting families - Get a realistic look at the day-to-day demands of youth recovery work
Can decide—after trying it—whether this is a career path they feel called to pursue
If an intern decides they want to move forward, the FullCircle National Team will determine
whether to advance them into a specialized training program designed specifically for programs
like ours. This ensures that anyone moving toward full-time staff roles receives high-level
preparation and alignment with national standards.
A Competitive & Limited Opportunity
FullCircle is honored to have many young people who feel called to serve. However, not
everyone who wants to join the internship program can be accepted. Spots are limited, and we
receive more applications than we can reasonably support.
In the same way, not everyone who completes the internship can be hired. Because of funding
limitations and the specialized nature of our work, we simply cannot bring every intern onto staff
—even though we deeply value their passion and commitment.
- For this reason, we always encourage our young people:
Do not put all your eggs in one basket. - If you feel called to work in youth substance recovery, consider:
- Pursuing a degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Staying active in a 12-step recovery program
- Continuing personal and professional development
FullCircle is a powerful place to begin your journey, but it should be one part of a bigger plan for
your long-term future.
Internship Qualifications
- To apply for the internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of one year sober
- Minimum of one year in The FullCircle Program or a comparable program
