Kevin Kayden found sobriety in Phoenix, Ariz., in 2009 when he was 20 years old, an experience that set the course for his life’s work. Since then, he has built more than 15 years of experience in the field of adolescent and young adult recovery, serving as a peer support counselor in Intensive Outpatient Programs and later as a senior counselor and program director.
He began working for the FullCircle Program in Atlanta before moving to North Carolina, where he now serves as Program Director. In this role, Kevin leads the growth of services offered completely free of charge to families, combining his lived experience in recovery with his certifications as a counselor in Georgia and North Carolina.
Kevin’s work is driven by the belief that recovery changes not only the lives of young people, but entire families and communities, and he is committed to helping build a stronger recovery community for the next generation. He and his wife are raising two children in Charlotte.
