Mercedes began her recovery journey in 2015 at just 15 years old through an outpatient program in Colorado. Sobriety gave her a chance to rebuild her life, and she found purpose early on in helping others do the same.
In 2018, Mercedes joined the FullCircle team, serving as both a Junior Counselor and program administrator. In the years since, she has worked in several recovery communities across the country, gaining deep experience in counseling, leadership, and program development. Her professional contributions have benefited the FullCircle programs in North Carolina and Kansas City.
Mercedes returned to her home state of Colorado, initially supporting younger and older groups as a 90-Day Staff in Denver before stepping into her current role as Senior Staff.
Mercedes is known for her unwavering empathy, consistency, and steady leadership. She is someone people naturally turn to for structure, emotional support, and honest guidance. Her commitment runs deep—not only is this work personal to her, but she views it as a lifelong calling to help young people and families find freedom and connection in recovery.
Mercedes is grateful to serve in the community that helped shape her. She loves doing life alongside her husband, James Delaney, and values family, growth, and a life built on purpose.
